Volunteer

Volunteers are needed in many areas as listed below.  We are also always in need of groups for special projects that arise occasionally such as putting together our newsletters and mail-outs.  So be “on call”!

Nanny’s Closet and Boutique

Our volunteers make sure we have enough diapers, baby clothes and other items in our Nanny’s Closet and Boutique. Volunteers are always needed to help track what items we are in need of, setting out what we have, and writing thank yours for our generous donors. Would you or one of the groups you are involved with like to help in this area? We’d love to have you join us!

Surrender the Secret Counselor  Surrender The Secret is a post abortion Bible study to assist women torn by guilt or traumatized from an abortion in their past.  The Center provides this class as the need arises.  A volunteer counselor would be trained and is best if they have had an abortion experience themself in order to truly empathize with the client.

 Men’s Ministry

Men are needed to conduct Bible Studies for men within the Center and to counsel men in crisis situations related to pregnancy or STD’s. Call the HCPCC for any questions at 830-249-9717.

School Relations Team

Individuals are needed to help in the building of relationships with the Christian Clubs located on the various University and High school and Middle school campuses.

Prayer Team

Individuals are needed who are committed to pray for the ongoing needs of the clients, as well as the center. This team would receive prayer requests, schedule group prayer time and communicate praises. A leader should emerge to implement the program through communication with the team and recruiting.

Abortion Recovery Counselors

Volunteers use our Surrender the Secret Bible Study to share about God’s love and forgiveness with women who have experienced abortion.

Office and Clerical Assistance

Volunteers are needed to work doing office/clerical work. These individuals will need to be able to commit to a 3 hour shift with some level of weekly or monthly commitment.

Lay Counselors

Be trained to assist clients who come in for a pregnancy test.  Support the client through sharing the gospel, discribing the options with a pregnancy and helping her with other needs as indicated (material assistance, adoption agencies, parenting or prenatal classes or other).

For information or questions on any volunteer opportunities at the Center, please contact Karen Eulberg at 830-249-9717 or kareneulberg@lifesprecious.org.
